Your data, handled straight

• Account info: name, email, password hash, profile picture.
• Artist profile: stage name, location, phone, Spotify and Instagram links.
• Release data: metadata, cover art, audio masters and rights information you submit.
• Payout details: bank, UPI or PayPal information used only to send you money.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to keep the platform secure and working.

• Delivering your releases to stores and DSPs worldwide.
• Paying royalties and verifying withdrawal requests.
• Reviewing Founding Artist applications and enforcing our content policies.
• Support conversations and product updates you asked for.

• We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We do not claim ownership of your masters or compositions.
• We do not share payout details with anyone outside our payment processors.

Cover art and audio masters you upload are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you upload from, plus delivery copies used to ship your release. Clearing your browser data removes the local copies.

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time from the Account tab in your dashboard, or by emailing artists@distribeats.in. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, minus records we must keep for tax and royalty accounting.
